Yes. We use whole plant hemp extract in all of our products which naturally contains cannabinoids including CBD. In addition, our products also contain trace amounts of other cannabinoids and terpenes.
6What extraction method do you use?
We start the process out with a Subcritical CO2 extraction process which produces smaller yields than a Supercritical CO2 extraction method. With this procedure we are able to retain more of the cannabinoid potency, terpenes and sensitive components of the plant. It is then followed up by a winterization process that removes all lipids, chlorophyll and waxes.
1What is the difference between hemp seed oil and a whole plant hemp extract?
Not all hemp oil is created equally. You may see various products at your local grocer or online that say that they use hemp seed oil as one of the main ingredients. This can be misleading as these products contain no measurable cannabinoids. Whole plant hemp extract contains all the constituents of the plant so this includes cannabinoids and terpenes that occur naturally in the plant.
